Las Vegas is a city of extremes. Behind the neon and the tourism economy, thousands of residents battle addiction and homelessness with very few places to turn. Vegas Stronger exists to change that equation β and they are doing it differently than anyone else in the valley.

Vegas Stronger is a nonprofit behavioral healthcare organization located at 916 N. Main Street in downtown Las Vegas. They deliver compassionate, evidence-based treatment to some of the most underserved people in the valley. Their programs span the full continuum: medication-assisted treatment (MAT), partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), standard outpatient care, and an early release program that gives incarcerated individuals a path to treatment instead of continued incarceration.

Vegas Stronger operates with a 13 Essential Elements framework that covers everything from trauma-informed care and nutrition to harm reduction and long-term recovery support. They run active street and shelter intervention programs β their outreach teams go directly to where people are living, not waiting for them to walk through a clinic door. They also provide case management and housing support, understanding that recovery is nearly impossible without a stable place to sleep.
Their dual diagnosis treatment addresses addiction and mental health together β anxiety, depression, PTSD, and trauma therapy using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). They offer services in Spanish through their Vegas Mas Fuerte program, serving the Latino community that is often overlooked by English-only providers. They publish annual outcomes reports publicly, holding themselves accountable to the community they serve.
